Rule #12, traditional publishing for status and self-publishing for money? I think you can have both with self-publishing. I know you can. I do. No longer is a traditional publisher's imprint on your book a sign of anything but a publishing deal that pays the publisher more than the author. No reader cares who publishes a book or makes a buying decision based on the publisher. Thoughtful post, many thanks.
